In spring, summer, autumn and winter, we always take great pleasure in walking in the beech and fir forests, picnicking by the banks of small rivers, admiring the view of the valley at the top of the Aspin Pass or making our own tracks in the fresh snow towards the Hourquette d’Ancizan plateau…
THEN REACH THE HEIGHTS AND APPROACH THE STARS!
When we lack altitude, we go to the Pic du Midi, by hiking, cycling or simply by car. Here, the landscapes change, we are in the mountains. We are entering the realm of vultures, lamas and…. astronomers!
AND END WITH A GOURMET TRIP TO OUR FARMERS OR TO THE STALLS OF OUR MARKET
Because our shepherds and farmers are not only in their mountains or in their fields, they like to welcome you to share their products and the strings of their trade… And if you can’t meet them at home, you find them every Saturday morning in the streets of Bagnères-de-Bigorre, as part of our weekly market!
Try sheep’s milk cheeses, spit cakes, black pork sausages or Tourmalet honey. I promise, your taste buds will never want to leave our house again!
